summer

I'm done, I'm done, I'M DONE.

I took my last two finals this morning, so I am officially done with high school- all I have left to do is graduate. Which will happen exactly a week from today. I can't believe it.

But really, I can't believe it. It hasn't sunk in yet and I don't know when it will. It still feels like I'll wake up at 6 in the morning and put on my uniform and drive to SJA and sit through AP English and drag myself to Environmental Systems and eat my salad in the courtyard and then not want to go to Gowen's  class & then tell the MRV all my problems, and then not want to go to pre-cal, then go home, eat, homework, sleep, then do it all over again the next day.

But I never have to put on my uniform ever again. I never have to sit through AP English, or Environmental Systems, or eat lunch in the courtyard, ever again. And I never have to take a Spanish test ever again in my life than you Jesus, Mary & Joseph.

I never have to wear knee-high socks ever again.  What am I going to do with all of those?

It also hasn't sunk in that in just 6 short weeks, I'll be on my way to Los Angeles to start FIDM as a Visual Communications major. For being someone who is very good with getting my thoughts out into coherent sentences, this is how I feel about that: asdfghjkl

In other semi-relevent news: I get my braces off tomorrow- after about three years. Oh yeah. Just in time to graduate.
Oh! and continuing the semi-relevent news: I still don't know what I'm wearing for Graduation.

So I'll leave you- if there are any of you out there- with this parting thought for today:
Nothing reduces the odds against you like ignoring them.
