the one on melrose

Hey everyone!
Yesterday, for my 8:30 Trends class, my class met in West Hollywood on Melrose Ave. The purpose of the class was to observe street art- by way of graffiti, stickers, stencils, and take pictures of them for an assignment.

Trend Forecasters look to more than just Fashion for the trends, and Street Art is a great example of that. So here are some of the pictures I took!

so good.
I hope you enjoyed scrolling though the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them!
I'll have a new lookbook outfit post coming up this week!
Have a great weekend, everyone!

the one that's long overdue

Hey there everyone! It's been a while, I know.
So I'm back in the City of Angels and I'm working hard!
I'm in my 2nd quarter here at FIDM & I'm taking five classes.
Here's a look at my schedule:

Thursday:
8:30 - 11:15 Trends: Past, Present & Future
12:00 - 2:45 - Computer Rendering
3:00- 5:45 Effective Speaking

Friday:
8:30 - 11:15 Perspective Sketching
12:00- 2:45  Survey of Western Art II

Thursdays are my Mondays.

Last Friday -heavily caffeinated in order to stay up- Kayla and I went to Club Nokia in LA Live to watch The Wanted preform. They put on a great show, and you could tell they were genuinely happy and excited to be there.

It was general admission, so Kayla and I waited in line before getting into the venue, and we met three amazing and sweet girls who we ended up sticking to for the rest of the night.

When we finally got into the venue- because we didn't have the black bands that were handed out in the beginning of the line- we couldn't get into the pit- the area closest to the stage. But luckily, security guards started handing them out and all five of us were able to go on the floor close to the stage. We were SO close.

The Wanted's opening act/warm-up band whatever you want to call it- was pretty amazing too. Well, the singer - we called him Jesus because of his hair & beard - thought he was too hot for his own good. Honestly it was uncomfortable to watch. He was very talented though, but the five of us just ended up watching the cute guy playing guitar.

& then I got a picture with him.

then about fifteen minutes later, The Wanted came on stage.
Honestly, I'm a One Direction girl myself- but these guys were great. Great, catchy songs and good performers. Cute too. Consider me a fan.

Sadly, I don't have any new outfit posts of myself, but earlier last week, I reached out on Instagram for some outfit posts, and two lovely ladies responded. So THANK YOU! <3

So here's a photo diary, enjoy!
